FDI has its own advantages and disadvantages :

Advantages

• Increase economic growth by dealing  with  different international products
• It allows money to go to whatever  business  has the best prospects for growth. Billion doller will be invested in Indian market.
• More and more employment will create day by day .( by setting up industrial units/ retail outlets etc. in various cities/towns/etc in india)
• Farmers  will get good prices for their products.
• Global retailers like Asda, Tesco, Bay,Toyrus, Best buy, Home store etc  may set up retail outlets in india. Prices of commodities will come down. The quality of services  in the market will certainly improve.
• It will help india in terms of enhancing the technology advancement in india.
• FDI gives well run businesses – regardless of race, color or creed,bribery,poliyics,- “a competitive advantage”.
•  Increase export/import business in different countries.

DISADVANTAGES:

• It will effect 60 million merchants in india. Local small retailers  may face loss in business.
• Workers safety and policies are not mentioned clearly.
